Mfinanga Photography + Motion

Booking policy

A clear path from package choice to agreement, invoice, payment, and gallery.

This page explains the public booking policy for Mfinanga Photography + Motion. Service agreements and invoices may include additional details based on the exact session, event, production, travel, deliverables, and usage.

Service-first booking

Each photography service has its own path. Weddings, high school seniors, headshots, events, sports, family, maternity, newborn, portraits, motion, and commercial work each have separate packages, planning questions, availability, quote context, agreement language, invoice needs, gallery delivery, and follow-up.

Start from the service page that matches what you need. That keeps the package, consultation, preferred date, quote, agreement, invoice, payment, planning, gallery, ordering, and communication attached to the right service.

Quotes and consultations

Some sessions can start with a published package and available time. Larger or more variable work, including weddings, events, sports, portraits, motion, and commercial projects, may start with a consultation so the studio can confirm scope before the quote is finalized.

A website package preview is not a final invoice until the studio confirms availability, scope, required details, taxes if applicable, and any approved add-ons or changes.

Agreement before payment

Online payment opens only after the service agreement step is accepted. The agreement records the selected service, package or scope, client details, deposit policy, usage or delivery terms when applicable, and other service-specific expectations.

If a contract, invoice, or payment step needs manual review, the studio may pause the online flow and follow up directly before payment is requested.

Deposits and payment

Most bookings require a 30% nonrefundable reservation deposit to hold the appointment, event date, or production window. When online payment is available, clients may also choose to pay in full.

Final balances, taxes, product orders, travel, rush delivery, usage changes, and approved upgrades are resolved on the invoice or project record.

Rescheduling and cancellations

Rescheduling depends on the service, date, season, availability, and how close the request is to the appointment or event. Weather-sensitive sessions may be handled differently from weddings, events, commercial productions, or travel assignments.

The reservation deposit is nonrefundable because the studio blocks time, prepares the project, and may turn away other work for that date. Any exception must be approved by the studio in writing.

Galleries, downloads, and ordering

Gallery delivery, downloads, print release, product ordering, proofing, family sharing, and archive access depend on the selected collection and service agreement.

Images are delivered through a private gallery or client portal path. Public portfolio images are separate from private client galleries.

Image use and copyright

Photography and motion work remains copyrighted by Mfinanga Photography + Motion unless a written agreement says otherwise. Client usage rights depend on the package, project type, license, and agreement.

Personal portrait, wedding, family, senior, and newborn sessions are different from commercial, event, brand, and motion assignments. Commercial usage, paid advertising, publication, resale, sponsorship, and third-party usage may require written approval or a specific license.
